About Return to the Earth
Green burial, or natural burial, is choosing to return your body to the earth in the most simple way possible. Return to the Earth Green Burial Co-op has been created to advocate for access to green burial in the Canadian prairies. Our aim is to establish the first natural burial cemetery in Manitoba. We also serve to increase awareness of sustainable death care practices and encourage municipalities and other existing cemeteries to adopt green principles.

Return to the Earth is a non-profit co-operative. We are newly incorporated and expect to be selling memberships early in 2024. Becoming a member makes you an owner of the organization, with voting rights and other member benefits.
